Fall & Winter

This south, a traditional fall doesn't really exist. We have a midsummer drought similar to "winter", where the heat keeps all inside and gardens come to their end. Typically, this is when we start our fall & winter seeds. And, when most other states are cozying up in sweaters mid-November, we could quite easily be pulling weeds in our tank tops still. Then true winter comes, but just a few low tunnels keep things cozy. A growing season of 230+ days make gardening in the south a marathon.
